When a friend clicks a referral link, Ripply greets them with a branded claim page and primes a one-time, first-order discount onto their cart automatically. The perk is waiting for them at checkout — there's usually nothing to type in.
How do referrers get rewarded?
Once the referred order is confirmed placed and paid, the referrer's reward unlocks and is emailed to them automatically. You choose the reward: a fixed amount or a percentage, delivered as a one-time discount code or as store credit. For example, a $10.00 reward on every qualifying referral.
Can customers game it — is it fraud-safe?
Yes, it's built to resist abuse. A reward only fires when the backend re-reads the referred order live and confirms it's genuinely placed and paid — a cancelled or refunded order never pays out, and claws back a pending one. Self-referrals are blocked, per-referrer caps are configurable, and every reward is idempotent per order at the database layer, so a double click or a re-fired webhook can never double-pay.
Does it work with my existing checkout?
