Your customers refer friends. Both get a reward.

Ripply is a refer a friend program for OpoShop stores. Every customer gets a personal link to share. A friend who uses it gets a discount on their first order, and your customer gets a reward once that order is placed.

When a friend opens a referral link, a banner on your store offers their discount. They enter their email and get a one-time code. They copy that code and enter it in the discount box at checkout. It is not applied by itself.

Once the friend's order is placed and paid for, your customer is emailed a reward code for their next order. An order paid by card is rewarded by itself. An order paid another way, such as PayPal, shows no card payment to Ripply, so it waits on your Referrals page until you confirm it was paid, with one click. You choose the reward: a dollar amount or a percent, for example $10.00 off. If you set a minimum order, the friend's order has to reach it. Reward emails need email turned on in your OpoShop store. If one does not arrive, your Referrals page says so and lets you resend it or copy the reward link.

It is built to make that hard. A reward is only given after Ripply reads the order from your store and sees it was placed, paid for and used the friend's code. An order that is placed with no card payment showing gives nothing by itself: it waits for you to look. An order cancelled before the reward gives nothing, and if an order is cancelled after the reward, the reward is taken back and its code is switched off. A customer cannot refer themselves with the same email or customer account, one order can only ever give one reward, and you can limit how many rewards one customer earns. Each code is switched off after the first paid order that uses it (for an order paid another way than by card, once you confirm it was paid), so a code that gets passed around works for one order. You can also have Ripply hold a reward for you to check when a friend's order ships to your customer's own address or uses their phone number, and give it with one click if it was a real friend. That is a switch in Settings. What it cannot do: it cannot see refunds (only cancelled orders), and it cannot tell a person using a second email, a different address and a different phone from a real friend. The reward limit and the minimum order are there to keep that small.

Yes. The friend's discount and your customer's reward are normal OpoShop discount codes, entered at the checkout your buyers already use. No theme editing and no change to how you get paid.
