Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Ripply, a customer-referral app for OpoShop merchants, published by Found. By installing Ripply, or by using a referral link, claiming a discount, or redeeming a reward through a store that runs Ripply, you agree to these terms. Ripply is a tool that helps a merchant run a refer-a-friend program; the merchant, not Found, sells the products and decides the program's rewards.

The service

• For merchants. Ripply creates per-customer referral links, issues one-time first-order discounts to referred friends, attributes completed orders back to the referrer, and issues the referrer's reward according to the settings the merchant configures.
• For customers & friends. Ripply provides a referral link to share, a first-order discount to claim, and a reward when a referred friend completes a qualifying order. All perks are provided by the merchant's store, not by Found.

Rewards & discounts are issued at the merchant's discretion

• The friend's discount amount, the referrer's reward amount and type, minimum-order thresholds, expiry windows, per-referrer caps, and eligibility rules are all set by the merchant and may change at any time.
• A reward is issued only after the referred order is confirmed genuinely placed and paid (status placed, shipped, or delivered). Orders that are draft, cancelled, refunded, or otherwise not completed do not earn a reward; a reward already issued for an order that is later cancelled or refunded may be reversed.
• Discounts and rewards have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are valid only at the issuing store. A one-time code works once.
• The merchant may pause, change, or end its referral program at any time. Found may suspend the service for a store as described below.

Acceptable use

• Use referral links honestly. Share your link with real people who might genuinely want to shop; do not spam, post to unrelated forums, or misrepresent the offer.
• Do not attempt to bypass, tamper with, reverse-engineer, or overload the service, its public endpoints, or its rate limits.
• Do not use the service for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes others' rights or harms the merchant or Found.

Anti-fraud — abuse forfeits rewards

Referral rewards are for genuine new-customer referrals. The following forfeit any related discount or reward, may be reversed after the fact, and may result in suspension:

• Self-referral. Claiming your own referral link, or referring yourself under another email or identity, is not permitted.
• Fake or manipulated orders. Orders placed only to trigger a reward, orders that are cancelled or refunded after the reward is claimed, or orders created to game the program will not earn — and will claw back — a reward.
• Code abuse. Sharing, reselling, or reusing one-time discount or reward codes beyond their intended single use.
• Ripply verifies each qualifying order against the merchant's live order data before issuing money; a forged or fabricated order will not pass and earns nothing.

Merchant responsibilities

• The merchant is responsible for the products it sells, for honoring the discounts and rewards its program issues, for the accuracy of its program settings, and for complying with applicable law (including consumer, marketing, and tax rules) when running a referral program.
• The merchant is the controller of its customers' and friends' personal data. Found processes that data on the merchant's behalf as described in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty

Ripply is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every referral will be attributed or every reward issued in every circumstance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Found is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Ripply. Discounts and rewards are obligations of the merchant's store, not of Found.

Suspension & changes

We may suspend or limit access to protect the service, prevent abuse, or comply with law, and we may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date; continued use after a change means you accept it.
